It's very problematic and there is absolutely no need for saving biometric datas! We in Germany already have biometric passports. But what the f*** for? Every individuum, that wants to commit a terroristic attack will do so, regardless to biometric datas in his passport. that's ridiculous. Secondly, because there are a few crazy people, why has the entire society to suffer, because of some idiots.

This govt is fulfilling obligations it has to the EU (spit) to introduce id cards.
Laws, policies, taxation, spending - all directed by faceless, unelected Eurocrats. The Tories won't be any different, once they get in and realise the grip the EU has on them. When. Can. We. Leave? Write comment

Personally, I would like the Conservative Party to make its continued opposition to an ID card as vocal as possible. 'Unfortunately, they are as quiet as doormice on the issue at the moment and have been for some time. Please come back Mr Davies ....
