First, we should introduce our writers to a good dictionary and some understanding of the language ...
We don't need to introduce our youth to "more dangers" - we need to introduce kids to more risks, carefully, and with enough supervision that they (the kids) can survive the experiences ... We need to introduce our kids to the very concepts that Political Correctness is designed to hide, so that our kids can learn from the expereinces of many other people, and hopefully not have to make the mistakes that those others made ... And we can start by being less niggardly in our willingness to encourage our kids to have genuine exploratory experiences ... Write comment

Huh? Since when did this happen? I've been a Scout and am now a Scout Leader and I have never, ever, come across any "deep suspicion" because of the non-existent "militarism" of the movement.
