I wish you could have seen the response of our Maths Faculty when some idiot tried to force them to give us our marks as percentages instead of the current system. It was hilarious. The current system may be horrendously complicated, but it does at least give a reasonably accurate reflection of one's ability. The Faculty decided they were just going to make up a percentage mark to publish, told us exactly how they would calculate it based on our real marks, and encouraged us to feel free to ignore it. - Jenny S-T Fri, 27 Jun 2008 08:00:24 +0100
