Austrian Economics: Past, Present and Future

We still have spaces left at the launch of Eamonn's latest book, Austrian Economics: A Primer. There's no fee for attending, but you will need to RSVP to events@old.adamsmith.org if you want to come. As well as a drinks reception, there will be short talks from the following speakers, and then a Q & A session:

  • Dr Eamonn Butler (Director, Adam Smith Institute) will be talking about his book, and some of the fundamental concepts of Austrian economics.
  • James Tyler (Tyler Capital Ltd.) will looking at the Great Depression, Japan’s lost decade, and at what trends in credit mean for our economic future.
  • Dr Stephen Littlechild (Judge Business School, University of Cambridge) will be talking about Austrian economic insights on regulation and competition policy.
  • Professor Anthony J. Evans (Assistant Professor of Economics, ESCP Europe) will be talking about the latest scholarship in Austrian economics.
