I'd usually hesitate to post a Trades Union Congress advertisement on the blog, but this one's too good to ignore. What you have here is a revealing peek into the TUC's mindset: The state = adults. Citizens = children. Spending = cutting debt. (Ignorance = strength?) This is ludicrous, doublethink territory. But at least we know how the TUC sees us – as children who need a handout. Well, they can speak for themselves, but that's not me, and I doubt many people see themselves as children in need of a state handout.
Update: Madsen spots one good line: "It's not fair! I do all the work and you take all the money!". Quite right. Tax cuts all round!
