Denise Ho - Hong Kong's struggle

The Adam Smith Institute is pleased to welcome Cantonese pop-star and activist Denise Ho to ASI HQ on the 9th October.

Denise Ho is an activist fighting for democracy and human rights in Hong Kong. She is also one of the city’s leading pop-stars, going under the alias HOCC, but is increasingly known for her commitment to radical, democratic change. Ho recently spoke about the current protest movement at the UN Human Rights Council and the US Congressional Committee on China.

She will be talking about the current protest movement, what Hong Kong’s people are looking for, and how the UK can stand with people of Hong Kong.

There will be free wine. Door will open at 6:00pm and the talk will begin at 6:30pm.

Please RSVP at events@adamsmith.org
